Pokemon Blue and Red-get rare Pokemon with no cheat machine!

Taken from Bulbapedia, the Pokemon encyclopedia, this tells you how to get MissingNo. and follow the same directions to get level 100+ Pokemon that appear according to the letters in your name in the game.

MissingNo. is the Glitch Pokémon that appears after viewing the Old Man's tutorial in Viridian City on how to catch Pokémon, then immediately Flying to Cinnabar Island and Surfing along the right hand side of the island until one is encountered, without visiting any other areas.
Whenever the game "sets up" the planned battle against the Old Man's Weedle, it needs to change the player's character name to "OLD MAN" so that it will display "OLD MAN" instead of the name the player has entered.
The programmers decided to use the area of data where wild Pokémon information is as a temporary storage area for the player's name, due to the lack of memory on a Game Boy. Normally this wouldn't cause any abnormal activity, as the correct data for the wild Pokémon available is written to this area in memory whenever the player travels to an area where it is possible to catch wild Pokémon.
Along Cinnabar Island's coast, however, there is no data indicating which wild Pokémon are catchable, and the same is true for both Viridian City and Cinnabar Island itself, at least by movement in long grass. The game uses whatever data was already in the corresponding area of data when determining which wild Pokémon encountered and their levels-- now the player's name. Normally this space in memory would hold the data of the last area visited where wild Pokémon were catchable in grass and their level data (this same glitch allows players to exit the Safari Zone and Fly immediately to Cinnabar Island to be able to catch and fight Safari Zone Pokémon in the same way as they would in other areas, as Fuchsia City also has no wild Pokémon data for long grass), however, since in both Viridian City and Cinnabar Island the data is empty for Pokémon obtainable in the grass, the active data is never overwritten, leading to Missingno.'s. availability, among other things.
The name of the player has six hexadecimal values in it. The game needs only three "slots" of wild Pokémon data to store this.
The wild Pokémon the player encounters along the coast are determined by the third, fifth, and seventh characters of the player's name, while the levels are determined by the second, fourth, and sixth characters, respectively. By knowing which letters and symbols match which species and levels, through use of certain calculators and charts, it is possible to set the player name at the start of the game so as to find specific Pokémon at specific levels.

Here is a name you could use to get Charizard, MissingNo. in it's Aerodactyl skeleton form, and Mewtwo. The D must be capitalized! Sometimes MissingNo. can make the pokemon in your game turn into pixls. If this happens, catch another MissingNo. and trade it. Then your game will be healed. Also, the level 100+ Pokemon you can catch will become level 100 when you level them up sometimes. But who cares-automatic level 100 Mewtwo, Charizard, and MissingNo.!

Warning: Never try this if you have anything other than letters in your name! You will run into a trainer who you can never beat, and your game can be erased!

How to capture a Pokemon

There are lots of Pokemon games. From Pokemon Blue to Pokemon Pearl, the essential thing in each one is capturing Pokemon to have as your own. If you are a beginner, here are some tips on capturing Pokemon.

Types of Pokeballs:
Pokeball-normal ball for capturing Pokemon
Greatball-gives you a better chance of capturing a Pokemon
Masterball-never fails in capturing a Pokemon, the best ball
Quickball-for capturing quick Pokemon
Ultraball-not as good as Pokeball
Friendball-makes the Pokemon your friend
Moonball-a strange ball that works on Moon type Pokemon
Duskball-a dark Pokeball, used in dark caves
Netball-ball that net-captures the Pokemon
Loveball-makes the Pokemon love you
Healball-a ball that makes the captured Pokemon in full heath
Nestball-ball used on bird Pokemon
Safariball-used in the Safari Zone
Parkball-used in bug catching competition

1: if you are going to use any ball but Masterball, weaken the Pokemon first or the ball won't work. Tip: Don't use a strong move, or the Pokemon will faint!
2: Click bag/pack
3: choose the ball of your choice (If you don't have a ball, the capture WILL NOT WORK)
4: the ball will be thrown. In some games, like Diamond or Pearl, pressing A repeatedly helps out the capture.
5: The Pokemon is yours! You can now choose to name your Pokemon, but it is optional. Tip: If you have more than 6 Pokemon, the one you captured will go to your box on the PC.

To get a Pokemon out of your box:
Go to a PC in the Pokemon Center.
Click Somebody's PC, if you haven't met the owner yet. Click Deposit Pokemon and choose a Pokemon to put in your box. Tip: Put in your weakest Pokemon or one you don't like.
Click withdraw Pokemon, and choose your newly caught Pokemon to have on your team. Now the pokemon you caught is usable.

Tips:
When weakning Pokemon you are going to capture, don't use powerful moves. You might make it faint, and that would be bad, some Pokemon you can only get one chance to capture! If your main Pokemon has way too powerful moves, use another one. It is good to have a low level Pokemon with you for captures, Like a Bidoof, and you can also teach it HM and TM moves.

How to breed Pokemon

In most of the Pokemon games, you are able to leave two Pokemon at the daycare center and they end up breeding. Here is how to do that, if you are unable to.
Go to the daycare center.
Go inside and leave two Pokemon of yours. They must be boy and girl, no matter what type, or else it dosen't work.
To leave Pokemon:
talk to the person at the daycare, choose two of your Pokemon (boy and girl)
In about 2-3 days, the Pokeman will produce an egg. In about 3 days, the egg will hatch. Now you have a level 1 baby Pokemon!
Tips:
two Glooms will produce an Oddish,
two of any Pokemon the same type 2nd evolve or 3rd, will make the 1st evolve (two 2's) or 2nd (two 3's)

Evil Pokemon Teams

In this section, if you click on any underlined names, it will take you to a wikipedia page about that Pokemon/Charactor

Team Rocket: The orginal trouble making evil team, the evil Giovanni leads a team of trainers including the trio, Jessie, James and Meowth. However, the threesome have shown themselves to be helpful on occasion, and are more mischevious then evil, perhaps even good! Butch and Cassidy are the rivals of Jessie, James, and Meowth; unlike the trio, however, they are successful Rockets and are looked upon favorably by Giovanni. He once personally freed the pair from jail, much to the shock of Jessie and James, who have never received such treatment. Their plans are on a larger scale, with the goal to capture many Pokémon at once.

Team Magma:
Team Magma is another group of thieves in the
Like Team Rocket, some rebels are Pokémon thieves, but Team Magma specializes in the field of Fire and Ground-type Pokémon.
The group all wear dark-red uniforms with a black stylized "M" made of either mountains or volcaneos on their shirts. The head of Team Magma is Maxie
but his second in command is The Commander, named Tabitha. Another notable member of Team Magma is Brody who owns a Ditto and is able to imitate the voice and appearance of anyone he wishes, earning him the name of 'The Man of a Thousand Faces.' Team Magma often use equipment that is normally used for experiments with high temperatures. Team Magma are bitter rivals of Team Aqua. Though Team Magma does not exist outside the Hoenn region, they do know the work of Team Rocket, who have no Hoenn branch. Team Magma's main purpose is to expand the land mass, believing that by creating more room for life on land that they will be making the world a better place. To that end, they'll awaken Groudon from its slumber.
They eventually disappear after a battle between Groudon and Kyogre. It has been verified that neither Team Aqua nor Team Magma will be appearing in any future Pokémon episodes/games.

Team Aqua:
Like Team Magma, is a group of thieves in the Hoenn Region. They specialize in water and dark Pokémon.
Team Aqua is based in a giant nuclear submarine out at sea, with a helicopter for land-to-sea travel. The team members all wear striped black and white shirts with jeans. Their clothes bear a white skull-and-crossbone in the shape of the letter "A". Like Team Magma, Team Aqua is run by a ruthless Commander. Shelly is referred to as Team Aqua Leader, though the actual leader is Archie. Team Aqua are likened to a band of pirates and are experts in water and ocean reserch as well as water Pokémon. They only exist in the Hoenn region and do not recognize Team Rocket, unlike Team Magma. Team Aqua are the bitter rivals of Team Magma and are currently in a brief war with each other. Team Aqua's main goal is to partially flood the world as a giant ocean for their water Pokémon, believing that by doing this they will be making the world a better place. To that end, they will awaken Kyogre from its slumber.
Team Aqua is slightly less vicious than Team Magma in the video games (and vice versa in the TV shows) and has more females in its group, but they have a male leader. Although they seem bad they turn out to only want to stop Team Magma. Their main thoughts about Ash, a boy from the TV show, are not made clear, though Archie and Maxie (who seemed to have a relationship of sorts with him once) do see him as a pest. Team Aqua is well-known in the Hoenn region, and they often threaten the local fishermen into telling lies.

Team Galactic:
Team Galactic are the crime syndicate in the Sinnoh region, which is the setting of the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The team’s commanders (Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) are named after planets.
In Diamond and Pearl, Team Galactic state their intention to create a new world order . However, only Cyrus and his commanders know the true details (and even then, Saturn is not entirely clear on this)--that this will first entail the total destruction of the current world to allow the presence of the new. They kidnap the legendary Pokémon Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, and extract crystals from them to create an item known as the Red Chain, which shackles and controls a Pokémon, yet keeps their full power (according to Cyrus' files, they do not plan to keep their target in a Poké Ball, in which they claim that it will restrain its full power). The player in the video games infiltrates Galactic's headquarters and defeats Cyrus, so he allows the player to release the legendary Pokémon after beating Saturn. At the Spear Pillar, Cyrus uses the Red Chain to bring the legendary Pokémon Dialga (in Diamond) or Palkia (in Pearl) out, planning to use their power to distort, respectively, time or space and so create the new galaxy, over which he will be the ruler. However, those legendary Pokémon come back and break the Red Chain, interrupting the ritual. After this, and Cyrus's failure to defeat the player, most of Team Galactic disappears. Only a handful remain in Veilstone City, led by Saturn, who has renounced his earlier extremism and decided to found a new Team Galactic.
